ACS Labour conducts Surprise Checking of offices
Chandigarh, September 21:
On the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi, Additional Chief Secretary (Labour) Vijay Kumar Janjua on Tuesday conducted a surprise checking of O/O Labour Commissioner-cum-Director of Factories, Punjab and the boards working under the Department of Labour.
Giving details official spokesperson of Punjab Government said that during the above mentioned checking few employees of concerned offices/boards were found absent/late. Taking a serious note of this, Mr.Vijay Kumar Janjua, Additional Chief Secretary Labour issued verbal directions to officials to ensure punctuality in office and seek explanation from all absentee employees. Directions were also given to concerned officials to be present in the office on time in future.
