ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਡੀ ਜੀ ਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ AGTF ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ‘ਚੋਂ ਭੱਜਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ‘ਚ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਜੱਸਾ ਹੈਪੋਵਾਲ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ 6 ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਘਿਨਾਉਣੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ ।
Gangster Jassa Happowal was injured in Police action while attempting to flee from police custody in a major action by AGTF, Punjab. He was arrested recently and was involved in 6 murder cases and other heinous crimes
Gangster Jassa Happowal, the main shooter of an absconding foreign-based Gangster Rajesh Kumar alias Sonu Khatri and terrorist Harvinder Rinda, was arrested by the Counter Intelligence Jalandhar from the outskirts of Jalandhar on November 30. Subsequently, Jassa was brought on a production warrant in a Metro Plaza Firing case wherein he along with his two associates attempted to eliminate one person on July 21.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said that following his disclosures, a Police team from the AGTF under the overall supervision of ADGP Promod Ban was taking Jassa Happowal to the deserted built-up near Hotel Midtown in Peermuchalla, where he claimed to have concealed the Chinese pistol suspected to be used in Metro Firing Incident.
