A Unique addition to Chandigarh’s list of amazing attractions: Waste to Wonder park inaugurated today

Taking the vision of Nek Chand ji forward, the first waste to wonder park after the iconic rock garden, was inaugurated today by  Anup Gupta Mayor, Chandigarh. Some glimpses of the park! The park, spread across 1.75 acres, is a unique addition to Chandigarh’s list of amazing attractions. The structures in the park are all made of industrial and other waste products, such as iron sheets, rods, fans, automobile parts, and many more waste products. The park includes various types of structures, including an 18-feet tall sculpture of the Modular Man by Le Corbusier, a sculpture of an outdoor metal lighting tower, a sculpture of a stone family, robotic sculptures, and much more. The entry gates, the benches, and bricks at the edges of plant beds, have all been made from the bricks produced at the C&D plant of MCC. A ludo for kids made completely out of C&D waste products!
