ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਅਰਪਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਅੱਜ ਇਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਵਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸ. ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੇਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਇਕ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਹੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਹੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੇਧ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਹੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸੰਦ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਹਾਕੀ ਖੇਡ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਖੇਡ ਅਪਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇੰਨਾ ਵਧੀਆ ਨਾ ਖੇਡ ਸਕਦੇ।
ਸ. ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਨ-ਲਾਈਨ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ, ਵਜ਼ੀਫਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਤਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 10 ਲੱਖ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ, ਕੋਰਸਾਂ, ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਆਦਿ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਘਰ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਜੋਏ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਕਿੱਤੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਹੜੀਆਂ-ਕਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ਼ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸਦੀ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਸੂਚਨਾਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਈ. ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਨਿਵੇਕਲਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿੱਤੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਚੋਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੱਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ।
ਯੂਨੀਸੈਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਲਲਿਤਾ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਜ਼ਮਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਕਿੱਤਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸੋਚ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਂਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਵੀ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਆਸਮਾਂ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਆਯੁਸ਼ ਬਾਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ, ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਇਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ।
ਟਾਟਾ ਪਾਵਰ ਲਿਮਿਟਡ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪਰਬੀਰ ਸਿਨਹਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਲੋੜ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਰ. ਪਾਲਿਸੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਰ. ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਮ. ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਰ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਦੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਰ. ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਇਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦਾ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਪਟਾਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕਣ।
ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਆਈ. (ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ) ਸੁਖਜੀਤ ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਰਪਣ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਣਮੱਤੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸ਼ੀਅਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।

PARGAT SINGH ANNOUNCES TO LIFT INCOME LIMIT ON PENSION OF MEDAL WINNER INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS
INTERACTS WITH THE FORMER OLYMPIANS FOR FORMULATING NEW SPORTS POLICY OF THE STATE
Chandigarh, November 15-
Acceding to a long pending demand of the former Olympians, the Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Punjab Mr. Pargat today announced to waive off the condition of income limit on pension of Medal winner International players.
An announcement to this regard was made by the Minister during an interaction with the former players held here at MGSIPA in sector 26 regarding formulation of new sports policy. He said that instead of big stadiums major thrust will be laid on establishing coaching centers. Mr. Pargat Singh said that in order to streamline sports in the state a 20 member committee comprising of players of various games is being constituted, so that benefit can be taken from their vast experience and expertise in field of sports.
The Minister said that the government is process of formulating a policy wherein the services of the players recruited under Sports quota will be taken by the department. He exhorted such government officers to voluntarily opt for this scheme to uplift the level of sports in the state. Mr. Pargat Singh advocated that at level of coming into service these players must give preference to department only.
The Minister also called upon the players to render services to the Education department so that foundation of sports can be laid at early age. He said that the department has set a target of associating five lakh youth of the state under sports. Mr. Pargat Singh said that for creating an atmosphere of sports in the state corporate firms, private companies and NRIs will be roped in.
Meanwhile, former Olympians lauded the Sports Minister for involving them to prepare the Sports policy. They also gave their suggestions to inculcate sporting spirit amongst the youth from tender age. They said that it is for the first time that any Sports Minister has done a meeting with them on this important issue.
Earlier, Secretary Sports Mr. Ajoy Kumar Sharma called upon players, youth clubs and other stakeholders to join hands for creating an atmosphere of sports in the state.
Director Sports Mr. Parminder Pal Singh Sandhu said that in consultation with the players a new sports policy is being formulated, which will give much needed impetus to sports in the state.
On the occasion, Deputy Secretary Sports Kirpal Veer Singh, Olympians Rajinder Singh senior, Gurbir Singh Sandhu, Jaipal Singh, Suman Sharma, Tarlok Singh Sandhu, Sukhbir Singh Grewal, Bahadur Singh, Harbhans Kaur, Rajpal Singh, Avneet kaur Sidhu, Tejinder Singh Dhillon and others were also present.
